Yes, I would also like to see a right turn lane at this intersection going south on White lake. This lane is always backed up, sometimes over 1/4 mile long, but half of the people are turning right and west bound Andesonville is not too busy. This would clear much of the congestion at this intersection and also help the left turn problem as the originator mentioned.

I don't think that this intersection needs a left turn light for Nelsey, but rather a right turn lane for the southbound traffic coming from White Lake road. Per the Road Commission post, I think that there aren't many crashes at this intersection because the people around here all know it's bad and pay attention when driving by - if you're telling us we should hit each other more and it would get fixed, then maybe we should all pick a day to drive our beaters and oblige! Maybe you should "review" this intersection during rush hour, or recently after a long train has gone by... I'm sure you'll see the backup caused by the one person going straight through the intersection, and plenty of people running the light forcing the Nelsey left turners to run the light even worse. You said no go on the left turn light... what about the right turn lane?
