Description
There is no sidewalk connecting the base of the trail overpass to the sidewalk accessing the parking lot/businesses at bay pines blvd and Park St. We just wanted to bring this to someone's attention as it could present as a safety hazard with people trying to access the trail. Feel free to contact Eric Hufman, PMT Target 4450 Park St. Eric.Hufman@Target.com

There is an existing access from the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail to the Target parking lot. The trail users at the west end of the trail overpass need to jog to the south – there is a complete sidewalk that runs east along the trail embankment, then crosses under the trail overpass, and has a ramp to the parking lot.
We will add your request to the Sidewalk Request List, but a parallel sidewalk on the north side of the trail would not be a high priority.
Another option would be for Dayton Hudson/Target to apply for a permit to construct sidewalk from the western edge of their parking lot to the trail.
