Unfortunately there is no way for plows not to push snow into driveways and onto sidewalks. They must travel above a certain speed to move the snow and stopping and starting is not an option.

It made what would have been an impossible commute, just a little slower than normal.

I am the last house on the block. The snow at the end of my driveway is the result of the plow stopping too soon, so that the snow wasn't pushed onto the city property at the end of the street.It has nothing to do with the plow being able to stop and start along the way or reaching a certain speed. If your comment were true, my driveway would be blocked whenever the street is plowed.It isn't. I am merely asking that the plow driver notice when he is blocking a driveway and instead push the snow to the very end of the street. Thanks.
