This mountain of refuse has been growing for years and the city has done nothing about it. The fence has fallen down several times and is a hazard to the people being forced to walk next to it. The outside of the building is not being kept up and is an eyesore in the neighborhood.

When will our city wake up to the tragedy-in-waiting of homelessness? We need to provide welfare when deserved, and punishment when necessary, to end homelessness. Cleaning up encampments, and moving on the homeless from one part of town to another (sometimes from one side of the street to the other!) is a waste of time, and of tax money that could be better spent on permanent solutions.

How long will our Veteran's Memorial Building be neglected, disrespected, and misused this way. Perhaps the only good news for its neighbors is that Fire Station #1 is only a block away..

No disrespect intended, but did the Senior Code Enforcement go to the correct address?

I believe Code Enforcement has a vacant building violation process, which makes the owner monitor property, etc. Who is the real property owner ?? If this is not a construction site, why are those items ok?

Stacks of pallets and empty buckets are not construction equipment....

How can a pop up tent that's in shreds and blowing in the wind and looks ugly be considered building equipment? How can the rusted back end of an old truck on flat tires be considered building equipment? How can a mountain of old wooden pallets be considered building equipment? The building itself is in tatters and has not been touched in years and looks deplorable. Why is code enforcement letting this continue? The neighborhood around this building should not be subjected to this blight. Maybe putting this on social media and local TV news channels might make something happen in getting this taken care of.
