In 3 years nothing has been done, why? That’s ridiculous please fix!

I have also reported on this issue at least twice. The first time they said I reported it incorrectly so I reported it on a recorrected complaint, but was then told that this issue was reported to Solano County animal control. This was about a month ago, and still nothing has happened.

Animal control is operated by the sheriff. The dogs used to be able to roam free in the lot when there were two of them (a few months back). Since they acquired two more dogs, all the animals have been caged. It's repulsive! When we rescued the two prior dogs, my neighbor and went to feed them every day. We had a whole group of people following them on facebook. Animal control did nothing. Code enforcement at least fined them a few times for a filthy lot. We finally paid off Vallejo Motors to give the dogs to us for 200 dollars. They were then fostered, cared for and adopted by Solano County Friends of Animals. I am so tired of this issue. It makes me so sad.

Please skip SeeClickFix for this type of issue it’s not really equipped to deal with this. When I contacted Solono Animal Control a very caring and sympathetic officer showed up. I hope you will have better luck with calling this time. Here is the contact info:

Why does see click fix exist if not to address these problems, it’s ridiculous if we don’t know who to call, then a place needs to exist to direct these calls else where.

Contact the Animal Welfare League In Penngrove Or Cotati. They are a dedicated team of attorneys and will take strong action.

I have reported them to the sheriff with a long email about the code violation in the city of Vallejo regarding animals. Will update when I hear from them.
