Hey, it's what is the norm for the residents' concerns. There aren't a lot of tourists here now. Wait till spring & then things will get done in time for the tourists' return.
Same with all the traffic light issues. It's everywhere.

Agreed, where is the mayor in all this? No decorating this year on the streets (Riley Plaza tree has top 4 feet done), lamp posts out, and these new traffic signals are awful and dangerous! Salem: everything for the tourists, nothing for the residents (but hey, they still raise our property taxes!).

She runs the city. People like you obviously voted for her and now all these problems are not hers to fix? I suppose you support the new park next to the Speedway where all the homeless leave the syringes? Will we put portapotties there for the children? How much do you pay in taxes? I pay 5K and I get terrible roads and traffic, poor trash service, poor plowing, awful street sweeping and a mayor who bends over backwards for NSMC,SSU and PEM who pay no taxes. That's who I am ! Re Jerry: We are not hiding behind any bogus names. They are initials. And, we both have advanced degrees, & are not slow, stupid, nor hateful where all of this is concerned.
If you voted Salem's mayor back into office, after 12 years of this dynasty - with Salem going downhill - then you deserve what get. And the buck does stop at her desk.

As for your supposedly nasty reference to the Klan, that signals how you must have voted in the presidential election. And, no, Klansmen still do wear their hoods - the 'alt right' even carry tiki torches - although they usually do show their faces.
