I was riding my bike down the frame lake trail today because I really enjoy that path ever since the Parks and Recreation crew strung up the lights. Today I found most of them torn down, that is so pathetic. Does no one in Yellowknife have respect for anything anymore? The city folks work so hard for all of us to enjoy these Christmas lights and this is how we repay them. It makes me incredibly sad to see so much hate towards City workers when stuff like this happens, terrible. Hats off to the City Workers who put those lights up and shame on those who tear them down. Let's do better.
