Description

Please try harder with the bike lane striping at the intersection where the new pedestrian island went in - this is pathetic and has been an issue for almost two months. The striping done a few weeks ago was haphazard and is barely visible. Also more red curbs need to be painted for acceptable passage for bikes - this is still cringe worthy every time I come through this intersection. Bike lane needs to be obvious - cars are currently still parking in the red zone (frequently), meaning even less safe passage for bikes and often near misses with other cars since the lanes are impacted by the pedestrian island. I am in full support of the pedestrian island here but you need to complete the job for effective traffic calming.
