Description
Pedestrian signal light only allows crossing Adeline when 57th St vehicle light is green. This creates a very unsafe scenario when vehicles are turning left from 57th to Adeline.

There are 4 streets that intersect here. 57th, Adeline, and Market. There is pedestrian button to request to walk east along 57th and cross Adeline/Market, but there is NO BUTTON for people wanting to cross 57th along the west side of Adeline/Market AND the walk signal never appears automatically. In addition to having no signal to cross 57th, as a driver it is impossible to know, if you are driving north or south on Adeline or Market, if/how you can legally/safely make a soft or hard left turn onto Adeline/Market or 57th. Is this a 3 way signal or a 6 way signal? How does it work? There should be signs indicating what type of signal it is. Better yet, 57th St should be closed to traffic and the crazy Adeline/Market intersection turned into a 2 way signal.
