Just a heads up. this issue was reported more than 5 years ago, and the last posted comments from our town's officials were also from more than 5 years ago.

It might be a good idea for someone to start sending emails or making phone calls.

Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. Greatly appreciated. Since I only started working for the Town of Hamden in June 2021, I was not aware of this issue. I will take a look at this area [Whitney Avenue/Spring Glen/Ardmore Street] for this condition. But, I realize if it is occurring in one area, it is occurring everywhere in the Town to some extent. I will need to depend on caring resident's like yourself to keep me on my toes and aware.
Also, I do want you to relay one of my concerns. Cost. It is one cost to grind the current mat away and replace with a new adhesively attached mat (lifespan???). It is quite another (much higher) cost if the ramp is not ADA compliant, or is in poor condition, which should appropriately be replaced. That can add up to be very expensive - but I must walk the talk about safety being priority 1, if I am to live with myself. Let me take a look at the situation, and I will go from there. MGK
