Light pollution from lights in parking lots. These lights light up the entire night sky in south Vallejo. Don't we have ordinances against this. My home is completely lit all night long with these lights!

So I will put this on my Vallejo fantasy budget wish list... Unless GTE or Sylvania offer a free replacement / upgrade program, this city just replaced street lights to LED in 2014-15 under a PG&E program. Lots of complaints ensued from them being “too bright”. Shields were going to be installed after the fact because the City was rushed to make the grant incentive on time. Did that even happen? The comments drop off SCF before the resolution.

They are not telling you anything. They don’t seem to answer questions on SCF, much less follow up, even when they say they will, as I asked right here, “what happened to the shields that were to be added after all lights were installed”. The City did a rush job to complete install before the deadline for the grant funding of the project. It was stated they would get the shields and/or reduce the intensity after the installation.... Did that ever happen???
