I don't know what can be done at this stop but it is very dangerous trying to turn off of Grand street on to Washington when people run that stop sign or do a quick stop and go with out looking to see if someone is turning left. I most of the time go to the under pass (safer to get to the new men center) but some days I turn there because I am going to the new men center witch is right by this stop sign.
Maybe a flashing red light or a sign with a flashing light telling people going west to high way 51 can see that cars turning left don't have a stop sign. I know a stop sign can't be put in for cars turning left because people would be forced to stop in the high way and on the tracks at busy times of day. I really am unsure what could be done to make the turn safer but something needs to happen. I had a van run the stop sign and honk at me like I was in the wrong because I'm guessing he didn't see the 2 stop signs.
