For the posted speed on this section of Bigelow Street, the minimum sight distance required is 100 feet - before the need fro an advanced warning sign (STOP AHEAD) is warranted. The existing sight distance is over 300 feet. Most likely, motorists are not stopping because the amount of traffic on the side street (Evelina Drive) is insufficient to warrant a STOP condition there and there is good sight distance to see if there was a car on Evelina Drive approaching the intersection, so the STOP sign is being ignored
