Description
On a lovely residential street, there is one rental property which has revolving, uncaring tenants. This property is unmaintained, nearly condemned and a total eyesore. The landlord doesn't seem to care about who moves in. On this otherwise well-maintained street we are collectively embarrassed of this pit of a house.

Dear "Concerned Citizen",
I find it funny that you are declaring the entire house inhabited by heroin addicts. As someone who is close to the people on both sides, that is a gross exaggeration. Funny how things spread in the grapevine, isn't it? Believe it or not, there are more drugs in the world than just heroin but I'm assuming that's the only one you've ever heard of because, of course, that's the only drug that a "drug addict" does. Since you don't know any of them, I'm assuming you're basing your accusations off of rumors. If you haven't noticed, a few boys have left their side and I'd like you to know that is because they get rid of anyone who tries to disrupt their sobriety.
On the other side, a family of 4 children, mother, and grandmother live there and not one is on drugs. As a matter of fact, one tenant is a highly respected member of the community, an EMT/Firefighter. Not unlike, the friendly policeman and the corrections officer who live across the street.
Instead of talking about your neighbors, why don't you take the time to get to know them. All the boys and the family are nice people and don't deserve that you speak of them this way without you getting to know them.
I understand that you may have had issues with previous tenants but that is something you should take up with the landlord who doesn't give a damn about his property. He's nothing more than an out of town slumlord who does as little as he can, to keep the property "habitable".
