I appreciate the hard work done to clear our streets!
Please though, this poster is correct, Malden employees and contractors also pile snow on the sidewalk in my neighborhood.

We are all working so hard to make Malden livable; could it be possible to be more careful where we push and dump snow?

I agree with Home Owner. The guys who plow our streets deserve a round of applause for all of their hard work. It's not an easy job. However, I cannot shovel through the mountain of snow that the backhoes pushed up onto the sidewalk outside of my home last night. I know I am responsible for clearing the sidewalk and want to do so but the city needs to accept some responsibility here.

We know you're busy - and thanks you for your efforts - but Is the city at least willing to acknowledge this issue?

Prior to this year snow was not piled up by heavy equipment on street corners. Has there been a change in subcontractors or methods used this season? If so, can we return to past practices?

Hi all , Not a change in methods at all . Each storm is different with timing . temps and amounts of snow. In this case we got a lot of snow in a little time with cold temps.
