Description

At the intersection of 6th and T streets NW there is a HUGE problem for residents blocking the intersection for those coming North on 6th street to get to Florida or to make the turn on T. The placement of the traffic signals encourages motorists to do this. Its as if they have no indication that there IS a crossing intersection. We sit there for 4-5 lights trying to drive across the street on a green light. Perhaps one of the the two signals should be removed, which would ncourage motorists to stop before they get to sixth street. Or perhaps some traffic enforcement people could be placed there for a while until Florida avenue drivers actually GET IT. Let us through!!!
