Description
Depending on the plow driver and snow amount, the fire hydrant gets "buried" under feet of snow.( end of Park Ave.) It is quite difficult to shovel/snow blow the recommended 3 foot circle around the hydrant, One of the reasons is the hydrant placement and guardrails prohibiting room to push the snow any further away. Accordingly, the driver(s) could make a better effort to move the snow away after the first storm. A neighbor has already requested a backhoe to assist in removing the pile.......this has yet to happened. Having plowed commercially for MASS-DOT in the past, I am aware of the challenges of snow removal. I still maintain my CDL and Hoister's License and had years of experience so I am sure this issue can be resolved. Thank you.
