Description

There are 2 signs at both ends of Montague City Rd affixed to town traffic signs that state, " No Jake brakes, Please". What are the reasons for these signs to be posted on a flat, level section of road, where trucks traveling through the neighborhood would not be using their Jake( engine ) brake. The signs appear not to be DPW authorized. Similar signs used to be posted on Mountain Rd, where truck traffic is most heavy and Jake brakes are heard regularly, usually starting around 6:00 AM.
