The majority of SR520 street lights between 60th St and West Sammamish Pkwy are out. This makes the morning commute dangerous. This was also an issue two years ago, and it took a long time for someone to fix this
Nothing has been done to this yet. A few years ago we had a similar situation, and I emailed personally with a maintenance manager for several months to get this addressed. I must say that SR520 maintenance is very poor...
Still no action. SR520 it a fairly significant road so I really don’t understand why it receives zero attention. Do we need an accident before we can lights fixed? This is not rocket science guys...
Still no action on this. Unbelievable. It is now almost light during my morning commute, so the issue will be invisible to me, but I bet it won't be fixed by October when it becomes dark once again...your tax dollars NOT at work...
It is now worse than ever. This site clearly isn't read by anyone who can help restore lighting on this very dark section of SR520. Would anyone know who else to contact?
I passed by last week at night. I didn't count the number of lights that were out, but I would say around one hundred on the relative short segment. Total neglect from whomever maintains SR520.

WSDOT had decided that lighting in this corridor is not necessary. Until the poles are eventually removed, burned out lamps will not be repaired.
Many lights will remain at ramp conflict areas.
