While I understand that there is a desire to stop speeding, it seems clear that the lights down Jefferson are timed to stop traffic at (nearly) every light. This is bad for the roads and the environment. Please consider retaining these lights to facilitate traffic movement at the speed limit. This works well on Woodward north of 696; if it is good enough for the suburbs, it should be good enough for us city dwellers.

In October 2019 signal timing changes were implemented along Jefferson Avenue to improve progression. This issue was resolved at that time.
