  City Hall could use some PW help with the new stands on the E 14th Side of the building. I've seen people actually sitting in them. Can they be removed? Thank you!

  New stands? Do.you mean news stands? If so, rather than remove them, perhaps they could be raised a bit too high to sit on? (I assume the complaint was that people were sitting "on" them rather than "in" them.)

  News stands, correct. Some of them look broken up - someone was sitting in one with her bottom actually inside while she was bent over. If they are just being abused - broken up and graffit'd etc., maybe they need to go.
