Description

Traffic signal at 4th St and Solar Road has now been set to one minute both southbound and northbound. There is rarely the traffic to justify that duration.I have observed more than one vehicle running the light because it ran so long they thought it was broken. I would suggest a maximum of 30 seconds.

Checked vehicle detection. Signal functioning correctly as programmed. 4th street is coordinated north and south meaning side streets may experience a small delay depending upon arrival.

I'd agree the signals are working as programmed. I'm suggesting they're programmed incorrectly. Entry from the side streets is fine. However, both north- and south-bound traffic now has to wait a full 60 seconds in each direcdtion. I recommend they each be reprogrammed to last 30 seconds instead.
