Good Afternoon, thank you for submitting your issue to the County. Public Works confirmed that there are no "NO PARKING" signs on Kea Street. People are allowed to park on the roadway but should not be parking on the sidewalk. The County plans to resurface and stripe the area but we are waiting for federal funding and do not expect this project to take place until 2019. Public Works feels that once the road is restriped, drivers will be able to see where they are allowed to park and park more towards the roadway and not on the sidewalk. Maui Police Department will need to be notified by the community if vehicles keep parking on the sidewalk area.
