Could a crew go to pick up the tree that was left behind.

I contacted DPW to find out if the tree was picked up, the resident called me irate saying this Christmas tree is still on the sidewalk. I was transferred to communication which they stated they will have it picked up, it is on the list for the truck/crew to go there.
