The supervisor over the project has reached out to you, the individual who has created this SCF. I also will post on here what was said so anyone else who might be concerned or would like the information has it. The supervisor over the project is Bruce Wirth. He stated that: "There is a project underway to address many of the neighborhood issues. We are finalizing plans that will address flooding and major road repairs on North Canal Drive, Citrus Drive, South Canal Drive, Freshwater Drive and Cypress Drive. While flooding of Maple Ave and a few other roads in the subdivision were identified in a Preliminary Engineering Study, only the roads identified above were included in this project. That decision was based on available funding at the time the final design was started (2016). However, all roads within the subdivision will be paved as part of this project. The project is at the 100% Plan stage, with final plans being reviewed and expected to be finalized by end of month, first week of February. This project will be put out for bid based on a projected cost of $2,255,000. Our target date for releasing the Bid is on or around beginning of March. That process typically takes up to 5 months at which time a contractor would begin work. The paving would most likely not be done until the drainage and road replacement work is done." Thank you.
