I realize the weather has had an impact on outside work, but this issue has not yet been resolved or even acknowledged by the City of New Haven.

Pat - John from the Upper State Street Association here - Thank you for keeping on this. The City is going to fix this issue, but is working with the Church + USSA to do other parking improvements in this area at the same time. The goals is to finishing up the larger planning first so that it can do it all at once.

Keep up the pressure! It is posts + comments like this that keep moving things forward.

John, Thank you for your comments. It seems as if the city wasn't even listening. I hope the completion of the plan will be very soon. It has been dangerous trying to access the ramp during the past six months. Who is USSA?

USSA is the Upper State Street Association, which is made up of all the businesses on Upper State St. We hope it is completed soon too, and are pushing along with you + the church to get it done soon!

Thank you for the post, and the great community dialogue occurring here. My apologies Pat, as John outlined the city is aware of this issue and is taking the appropriate steps to address it. We're constantly trying to improve our operations, and one of the ways we've recently done so is by separating the SCF category "Signs/Bus Shelters/Pavement Markings" into three individual categories. As this was previously a catch all for three very different issue types it has lead some of the discourse with the public to fall through the cracks. As this issue was created just prior to our restructuring it may have contributed to the lack of dialogue from our end. Please be aware that this issue is a high priority and we are committed do doing the job right to best suit the community. I will do my best to keep this thread abreast of our progress going forward.
