All the lights in Chardon are too long and it takes forever to get thru the city. I come in rt 6 and have to go thru 8 lights to get to 44 north. It takes me 20 minutes to get thru.
They need to have right turn on red. The congestion on the square in crazy. Not being able to turn right on red on any make of the square makes no sense.
The lights are all too long. I call the light by Walmart connecting to Rt 6 The Punishment Light. I have seen 12 cars at the light before it changes. The lights seem to be set for a small town but Chardon has too much traffic now. The timers should be set the same time as for traffic on Mayfield Road. This causes traffic jams all day, but especially in the morning and afternoon when school traffic and commuters clash as in St. Mary School and Chardon Middle School traffic jam every morning and afternoon on North Street. What's the problem: We've complained so many times---do something about it.
