Description
The sidewalk has heaved and deteriorated along the entire span of Bilodeau Court. There are at least 4 locations where the resulting unevenness allows water to collect into puddles that are at least 2” deep and that span the entire width of the sidewalk. It is impossible to navigate the sidewalk at these points without stepping onto the neighboring lawns. During the winter, this requires stepping into deep snow. When these substantially sized puddles freeze, the ice/slip hazard becomes significant. I walk to and from work each day. These puddles, along with the overall unevenness of our sidewalks, present frustrating concerns.
3. At the very end of Bilodeau Court, at my home (75 Bilodeau Court), the sidewalk dead-ends into an unusable spot. This portion of sidewalk in never plowed (indeed, the sidewalk plow simply piles the snow collected until that point at this spot) and any cars attempting to park on this slab of cement will be ticketed by parking enforcement. This area could be much better utilized as green/garden space that might allow for the absorption of water that is otherwise running off from the pavement. If we come to an agreement that our street is due for sidewalk/gutter repair, I would highly recommend that any new sidewalk ends at the driveway apron for 70 Bilodeau Court.

Why can't I get an answer to this question or a response for continued dialogue? I'm serious about finding a solution. This, along with last year's concern is simply being ignored. Please let me know the best person to discuss this with.
Simply keeping these as "acknowledged" seems comically avoidant.
