Description
Commute daily on airport blvd for Google shuttle drop off. Airport Blvd is 1) very dark in the AM and PM with little to no street lighting 2) Has joggers, walkers, and cyclists crossing either legally or illegally across Airport Blvd.
Request to add in dedicated stop signs as well as improve the street lighting and street dividing markers.
This is unfortunately also a road where motorists tend to speed and has a high chance for an accident. Have witnessed multiple car accidents already.

The City of Burlingame launched SeeClickFix under the name “accessBurlingame” in June 2015 to equip residents and visitors with a free, quick, convenient, and public method for submitting service requests to City staff. Service requests are typically issues or concerns that can be fixed or completed in a reasonable amount of time. Examples of typical service requests include requests to clean up graffiti and dirty streets, repair potholes, curbs, and gutters, or report broken signs and street lights.
The City values your opinions and suggestions. In fact, five safety conscious and action oriented residents like yourself currently dedicate their time and efforts to the City's Traffic, Safety, and Parking Commission. Here is a brief description of the Commission authority and duties:
"The Traffic, Safety and Parking Commission’s duty, under direction and/or specific request from the City Council, is to provide the general public with a citizen’s forum for which to discuss matters pertaining to traffic, parking, and pedestrian safety in the City of Burlingame. The Commission will serve as the City’s first-line source for the public to openly discuss traffic, parking, and pedestrian safety concerns. When so tasked by the City Council, the Commission shall have the authority to hold public hearings and provide recommendations back to the City Council."
More detail is provided here: https://www.burlingame.org/document_center/Commissions/Traffic%20Safety/TSPC_jd.pdf
The Commission meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month, in Council Chambers at 501 Primrose Road, at 7:00 p.m. Please consider attending a meeting, or emailing the Commissioners. This is the best way to ensure your suggestions are given careful consideration by the City.
