This is absurd. What does it take to get them arrested?

The NHPD does not care. Has anyone noticed that they park any where they want to when they do extra duty. I' ve seen them park on sidewalks,in traffic lanes.They have (even) blocked a lane that leads onto the highway for hours. I REMEMBER THE DAYS WHEN COPS LED BY EXAMPLE. NO WONDER WHY THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE DRIVING AROUND NEW HAVEN OPENLY ON THEIR CELLPHONES OR DRIVING THRU RD LIGHTS.
I'VE SEEN CPS ON EXTRA DUTY PARKING THEIR PERSONAL VEHICLES ILLEGALLY ON THE SIDEWALK OR EVEN BLOCKING THE LANE TO THE HIGHWAY. THEY DON'T CARE. THEY KNOW THE mayor PARKS WHERE EVER HE WANTS SO I GUESS THEY'RE FOLLOWING HIS LEAD.
THEY STILL HAVEN'T ADDRESSED ALL THE ILLEGAL PARKING GOING ON IN FRONT OF THE KNIGHTS OF COLOMBUS. AND I REPORTED THIS OVER A YEAR AGO. LOOK AROUND AND YOU'LL WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. THEY DON'T CARE!!!!!!

I am closing dirt bike/ATV complaints that pre-date the conclusion of the police undercover operation (see www.newhavenindependent.org/index.php/archives/entry/9_arrested_in_dirt_bike_sting/). I do not expect the dirt bike/ATV issue to be completely solved, but it will be helpful to policing efforts to distinguish new reports from those before last month's operation. The operation was not a one-off effort to address this issue, and information reported in new issues is helpful.

Please open up new SCF issues as dirt bike/ATV issues re-occur.
