Thank you for using SeeClickFix. Capitol Street is on our 5-year CIP (Capital Improvement Projects) list and it is our intention to repave the road in the FY 2018-2019.

Update: The Capitol Street Road Rehabilitation Project is currently in design. The City of Vallejo estimates the start of construction to begin in summer 2020. If anything changes, I will update this page.

Hello! The Capitol Street Rehabilitation project is in the final stages of design. There were a few delays due to COVID19 and funding. Construction is expected to start late 2020/early 2021.

Update: The plans for the Capitol Street Rehabilitation project are 95% complete but have been halted in order to secure more funds. Also, it beneficially delays the project for construction to be completed after the rainy season. Construction is now expected for Spring/Early summer of 2021.

Update: The Capitol Street Rehabilitation Project went through the Public Works bidding process and is now recommending Vallejo City Council to approve the lowest apparent bidder. The Project will go to Council in July and Construction is scheduled to start in August/September.
