Description
I have lived here since 1991.The past few years cars
have made Johnnycake a speedway and parking lot, which it is NOT.Cars will not let us in or out of our driveways
In the morning cars are stopped 6-7 houses east of mine.Fire and rescue, buses, snowplows, trucks must wait to drive East on the street because of the cars lined bumper to bumper in front .I have people who have called the police and city hall but nothing has been done. There is a saftey issue here. Can someone please help.

We moved here because it was a nice city to live in and the schools were good. One of the reasons we bought this home was the veiw.We could live in the city, with the look of country outside our door.
We did not just wake up one morning and say hey I want a hill of weeds across the street and a exit that brings a parking lot to our front door.
And Jim Bob..... I did not say one thing about adding any lanes,Money Better suited... I'm not the dummies who ask for 615 nor a turn lane at my front door and to the rest of you who think you know it all.The construction has not one thing to do with the back up.You would being thinking differently if you needed a emergency squad or fire dept, and they are sitting here on 84 waiting for those kind folks to move out of the no lane area so the emergency autos can move to get to your homes.I see it all the time, you don't.You do not get the finger, cussed at,or things thrown at you because all you want too do is get in or out of your drive.

Ya know, billy bob, if you actually read the comments before YOU commented, you may not appear so, .... well, ... slow.
When they bought the house, IT WAS NOT A MAIN STREET NOR A BUSY STREET !!!!
It has since turned into a parking lot, and they are not happy with "progress"
i.e. They did not buy a house on the end of the runway and are complaining about the airplanes. Someone built the airport in their back yard after they moved in !!

I have to wonder if any of you actually read what 'Resident' wrote...
"You would being thinking differently if you needed a emergency squad or fire dept, and they are sitting here on 84 waiting for those kind folks to move out of the no lane area so the emergency autos can move to get to your homes.I see it all the time, you don't."
Vehicles are driving in the 'no lane area' which is reserved for emergency vehicles. That means police, fire, & ambulance, not someone who just doesn't want to wait in traffic because they think they are special. I have been in an ambulance that was trying to get to the hospital & idiots would not move out of the way. I was in a car accident (passenger) and was bleeding profusely from the head which required 42 stitches. But hey, it's much more important for some special boneheads to get where they need to go, who cares about a stupid ambulance right? People need to grow up.
