Thank you for taking the time to express your concerns. I’ve forwarded your comments to Parking Enforcement Officer Ken Lundgren. Officer Lundgren is very well versed in island-wide parking regulations and will be able to provide some feedback. It may take a couple of days, but his response will be posted here.

Ken Lundgren, our Parking Enforcement Officer, has been by several times and has not yet found a vehicle parked in the area. Next time a parked vehicle is blocking the hydrant, call him at 206-730-8282. If he doesn't answer, call 911. If you do call 911, simply explain that your call is not an emergency. The dispatcher will prioritize accordingly and dispatch an officer as soon as any urgent calls are cleared.
