I agree! I live on South Maple and people go up and down the street every day to go to the Scantic River Recreation Area. There are no sidewalks and it's hard to see on the hill. The only sidewalk heading down that way literally ends at somebody's front door and then you have to walk down their driveway and back out into the street. It's ridiculous. Please fix this!!! It's so dangerous in the summer with so many people going to the river.

Just wanted to add... It is especially dangerous being that it is a very busy road, with no shoulder, and hills on both sides. Can't understand why this has been ignored for so long.

Could yo put in a painted cross walk at the top of Powder Ridge Rd on South Maple St?

Still no response, over two years later. I think it may be time to get town officials involved, between this and the wasteful use of materials while "fixing" the roads, something needs to be done.
