Description

The ongoing sink hole issue at the stream crossing on Mowry Ave is due to both of the 2 drain pipes under the road being clogged. One is about 50% clogged on the upstream side and the other is maybe 25% clogged.

Water backs up, and erodes the earth/rock around the pipes. I know for sure pipes are clogged as when it rains heavily the outflow is greatly reduced from what it was over the past 15 yrs or so. Thanks for your help. DPW does a great job in town but this clogged pipe issue isn't going to be resolved by dumping gravel into the hole.
