Main problem with traffic light is that the trigger to change it works for traffic going in as well as out. When the city controled this light only out bound traffic signeled the light to change . This was reported to the County DPW many time but has been ( along with all the other problems at this intersection ) ignored

This ridiculous light remains red for route 32 long after the occasional car pulls out and is gone out of sight. A simple outgoing stop sign would certainly be sufficient and much more efficient!

There is no good reason for a traffic light here. A stop sign on the road to the jail isn't enough?

This is a useless light and everytime someone turns off Route 32 they hit the sensor in the road and changes the light even when no one is coming out of there.

It's a MAJOR waste and RIDICULOUS. It's the decision of the NYS Dept of Transportation to do something about it. The Sheriffs Dept did NOT want the light there either.
