Traffic Engineering will review for stop signs.

For traffic calming items like the speed board, there is currently no budget allocated to traffic calming but the City's Participatory Budget process typically has a traffic calming project on the list. The resident voting will take place April 1-30 this year, residents who want funding for traffic calming projects are encouraged to vote/volunteer for this process.

Sacramento Street is a disaster in waiting: large pedestrian and bicycle traffic on a very wide street, with parking allowed on both sides, and almost all the motor traffic driving too fast. We regularly see kids popping out from side streets or between parked cars. Whatever happened to the motor cycle traffic cops equipped with radar who used to haunt Sacramento Street? Don't give me that usual cop-out: protecting kids is national security!

The dangers of Sacramento Street traffic should not be part of the participatory projects; it is NOT optional. Lives are in danger every day here.
