A traffic light or 4-way stop sign is desperately needed. It is only a matter of time before there is a fatal accident at this intersection.

A simple traffic analysis of the # of cars/hour doesn't really adequately assess the risk of this intersection - as mentioned above people don't realized it is only a two way stop. Additionally cars are always speeding on montgomery road and the road curvature significantly reduces visibility, which makes it very difficult to make a turn safely, particularly at rush hour.

A traffic signal warrant analysis was performed on October 13, 2015 for the intersection of Marshalee Drive at Deborah Jean Drive and Montgomery Road, and none of the nine warrants were met per the federal guidelines for the installation of a traffic signal. A follow-up Multi-Way Stop Warrant Study was conducted for the intersection of Marshalee Drive at Deborah Jean Drive and Montgomery Road. Using the same traffic counts used for the signal warrant analysis, and police reported accident history, a 4 - Way stop condition is not warranted. Considerations will be made to conduct a traffic volume count and warrant study in the future when additional single family residential developments are constructed and those units are fully occupied.
