A work order has been issued to repair the pavement issue with sealant. The material used is temperature sensitive and will be applied as recommended by the manufacturer's guidelines. Scheduling is weather permitting. There is currently a backlog of these types of work orders and we will make every effort to begin work in the Spring however the completion date could be extended into November. Thank you.

Spring makes sense. November, does not. I would suggest staff visit the street. Staff will see this is a bit more than a patch and far less than an entire street replacement, at this time. Staff will see that the majority of the street is currently in good shape. However, waiting until November will likely result in increased risk to the overall street and curb & gutter...more $ to repair...not to mention the public safety of the issue. This one picture is reflective of probably 300 contiguous lineal foot of curb and gutter at the bottom of a cul-de-sac where all water/ice is collected in any weather event....the street & base is deteriorating at the storm water inlet. at the bottom of the cul-de-sac. In addition there are three joints due to material contraction that run across the street curb to curb that have began to deteriorate the base about 2' wide along the joint and settled 2-3"...without attention will lead to further deterioration at those locations and put the street's overall base in jeopardy. Today would not be a great day to visit the street as it is covered in sleet and the areas of concerned filled in with ice and sleet. I will send more photos
