The whole school needs drivers etiquette training. Parents park wherever they want to with some guy in a suit never saying a thing about it. There is a double yellow line on 13th St. Parents allow kids to get out on the street side. Parents will just park blocking half the lane. They park around the intersection mentioned above in all of the red zones everyday...@#$% me off that people come to another neighborhood and act like idiots!

I agree completely. The street (13th ave) is in need of repair and is unsafe for the students. There are potholes abundant, and still cars speed thru weaving as they try to avoid them.
Speed bump and resurfacing would help a lot.

Please fix this street before someone gets hurt.

The daily disrespectful behavior of many parents coming to pick up there children has been a problem for years here. They block driveways and leave the cars so residents are blocked. They double park causing danger to traffic flow. They block the exit of the fire house and many days fire engines are delayed in departures of emergencies. The fireman have to blast their loudspeakers and sirens to get illegally parked cars to move. I appreciate that parents are picking up children but they place many at danger in the many they do.

Over a year ago we started to post about this AND nothing has been done....but then again look what type of school district your dealing with! We get a new superintendent every 2 to 3 years...usually leaves the district as the last dumbass did in a 20 Million dollar hole,yet makes over 200k a year...for nothing....I see the Principal or Vice-Principal on Excelsior repeatedly allow cars to stop on both sides of the road dropping kids off in the middle of the streets and right in front of a fire department to boot. We also have what looks like an office in a box truck along with 3 to 4 tree trimming vehicles that park on Excelsior on Beaumont for 11 months now without moving...HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN CITY OF OAKLAND ?
