Description

A "LEFT TURN ONLY" sign should be installed hanging on the traffic light of Route 9R westbound in the LEFT TURN ONLY lane.

There only is a left turn arrow painted on the pavement in the left turn lane onto Johnson Rd., but many impatient drivers do not see it, and violently cut past, causing an extremely dangerous situation for people already in the right lane who want to merge left after properly clearing the intersection!

I've almost been rear-ended numerous times by drivers with road rage who are angry when driving behind slow drivers headed from Cohoes toward Latham on 9R!

Once they hit the traffic light onto Johnson Rd., they gun the gas pedal and careen into the left lane at breakneck speeds while trying to pass in the LEFT TURN ONLY lane!

Someone could be killed here!!
