there are alot of stray cats on our block we get no help from animal control or our bourgh now people are poising them n also shooting them if we feed them we get fined if we turn them in to animal control we get fined no one will help i also emailed erickson from channel 3 it is sad to watch the nursing mothers starve nand to see them abused this is animal cruelty at its worse the spca told me to contact mr luca from your paper and said he may be able to help thank you nancy sweeney 6103484689

You can thank Delco SPCA for all this abuse. They now charge each town a fee for brining in strays. They say they love and care for animals but its just about the money. This problem will only get worse now that the fee is in place.

If you are able to trap them, The Spayed Club Clinic in Sharon Hill can spay/neuter them, give them their rabies and distemper shots all for $60.00 per cat. It won't solve the problem with the neighbors, but at least you will stop babies from being born. The Clinic's number is 484-540-8436

I just don't get ignorant people who act like these cats choose this lifestyle for themselves. Get a clue and get informed about animal cruelty and abuse, which is what you're doing if you're choosing to harm these animals. It's probably your fault why there is an overabundance of strays. Get your animals spayed or neutered and don't let them wander the neighborhood!!!

Please contact the SPCA about this. And if anyone from that neighborhood can capture them and bring them in to a safe place temporarily, please do that! This is insane! Probably some unemployed brats that have nothing better to do with their summer.
