Thank you for contacting the City of Saint Paul. Please contact the Saint Paul Police Department's parking enforcement division directly at 651-266-5585 or 651-291-1111.
The parking violation is but a symptom of the issue. The issue is the insufficient snow removal from the parking lane. I understand that it's not reasonable to have every street perfectly cleared, but Marshall is a priority for commuters who travel by car, bus, and bicycle. Please fix the problem causing this issue. It is a considerable safety issue.
I called parking enforcement yesterday and was told they wouldn’t ticket or tow these cars and that they needed to park in the bike lane because of the snow. So St. Paul’s official policy is to ignore the law and prioritize parking ahead of safety.
