Code Enforcement cases are responded to based on a priority schedule set by the Alameda City Council. Cases involving health and life safety are the highest priority. There is a large hole in the fence, allowing vandals to enter. Could the property owner be advised to repair the fence so that the vandalism does not continue? This is in a highly visible location. Perhaps the City could fund a mural like they do facade improvement? The current situation gives a bad impression of the community near the entry to Alameda.

If this is a recurring problem, then other solutions need to be considered.
