This road actually hurts to travel on. I die a little more each day, and now so does my poor car.

Just rode on it this evening. They have patched random holes (which make big bumps). Now you are traveling over huge bumps or serious craters. I feel like I take my life in my hands everytime I ride down this street. I bike from near SH Village to E. Liberty to commute to work. I am on some of the busiest, most dangerous roads in all Pittsburgh. But nothing scares me as much as this stretch of road. Please fix it!

Changes have taken place since I wrote up this section in 2008. Now the potholes have extended from Estella to Beltzhoover. I had a bad wipe out on my bike near Estella a month ago due to a new larger than your average crater. I ride it in the early morning before the sun comes up so you might say I've been asking for it. If there was another way to get from West Liberty Ave to the other side of the mountain I would do it. Please, please, please tear up the road and re-pave it. Thanks. RD.

Finally authorities have heard the call. They are in the process of re-concreting the entire section of the worst of the roadway.
Only one side is complete to date, but I rode up it the other morning. Awesome. Good job. Please keep up the good work. Four years late, but better than never. Thanks. Rick

I would like to commend someone in charge. The virtually blew up the street and started over. What a wonderful section of road we all have now. It is still under construction, but mostly done. Cudos to the City and or Penn Dot, whoever. Thanks for listening and caring about the beauty and access to the city of Pittsburgh.
