Just passed by the car as I was going down the street. They’re just dumping trash all over the sidewalk.

Passed by again - second vehicle arrived; two occupants smoking in back now.

Get a license plate number and possibly a photo of their face, then the new code enforcement officer assigned solely for the purpose of illegal dumping issues can investigate, and hopefully prosecute.

Yes! Please new officer catch them and help our town.

No plates on vehicle.. would’ve included all that.

Thank you for reporting! The Police Department's Community Service Section (CSS) has opened a case for this issue. CSS has one part-time and three full-time employees who are responsible for addressing all quality of life concerns, supporting Neighborhood Watch groups, and working with the Neighborhood Law Program and Code Enforcement to address distressed and dangerous properties. We work hard to investigate each report in a timely manner, and will investigate this report as soon as we possibly can. Please keep in mind there is a lengthy process to remove illegal encampments. The Police Department, Traffic Division is responsible for handling all abandoned vehicle reports on streets and public property. You can file your report with them by downloading the Vallejo Police Department application on your phone, filing a claim online (http://www.cityofvallejo.net/city_hall/departments___divisions/police/police_online_services/) orby calling the abandoned vehicle hotline (707) 648-4682.

The vehicle is not abandoned. There are people periodically checking on it and smoking in it and trashing the street. See this as I drive by..

This vehicle has been tagged. If it is not moved within the appropriate time, it will be towed.

Actually Tom it took Christina and her team to tag the car to get them to leave.

Not sure - that’s their problem. And up to their community how they want to address it. If they don’t mind trash being tossed along the street. Leave em there.
This is not my neighborhood but glad they cleaned it up.
