All I see is PA and MD plates all over! They are taking over my street! When I 1st moved in here the 300 block of Virginia Ave had plenty of off-street parking! Now it is full of the out of state vehicles! And they are not here only for the weekend, they are here for weeks and months! Someone has to do something about this nonsense!

People who cant get a 6 points of ID NJ license need to drive somehow. Its their right to break the law by getting out of state registrations/DL`s,...as well as using the good old "temporary"plates for years and years.
How do you expect them to kill us in an accident because they dont know the meaning of yeild or stop if they cant drive? Please, give them a chance, just like the people who are blind to this problem.
( you dont really expect the motor vehicle laws to be enforced do you?) Thats only for you and me.....
Most of the cars they drive in full view would never pass an emissons test so,..take a deep breath and wait for the impact. If they had real plates real crimes could be solved.
Not that using an out of state plate for more than 14 days is a crime or anything??? or IS IT??!!??
well,...gotta go,...my insurance bill is due.

You are correct,...it is their right to abuse that privilege by displaying plates based on a false primary address.
And it will be their right until something is done about it.
You know,....about that privilege. The fake temporary plate trick is overplayed around here as well....those that skirt the law drive with a similar disregard for our safety. You will meet them sooner or later.
If you live to tell us about it,...give them my regards.

I'm surprised by the sudden proliferation of Maryland plates. It's like all the chicken processing jobs on the Delmarva dried up or something.

I am from Maryland and the law here is that you must register your vehicle within 60 days of moving to this state. That also gos for your driving license. You must do that also within 60 days. I know that all states have some kind of law that gives you a time to change over. I also now that the police can and sometimes check on a vehicle to see if they should be there. Call your police department and talk to them on what they can do about it. Good Luck

Every state has a law stating that if you have moved into the area and live there, then you have to change your driver license to where you live with in a month or two and no more. I would ask a police officer or call your DMV. Let me know on how anybody made out on this problem. I also live in MD and I know here they do give out tickets for it and alot of times they don't come back, because they do lie.

The Law does not get enforced. I wrote to several agencies and law makers in PA, MD and NJ about this problem. The bottom line is the Police do not enforce the laws. Illegal persons are committing insurance fraud against the state of which it is registered. Breaking many MV laws in the state in which they actually live. But nobody in Law Enforcement cares about it. They just want to make a 100Gs and get a 70% pension for life. I wish I could live/drive/work in a different country for free with no license or insurance or permission to be there and get away with it. Oh and get free heat, free food, free medical. While working without paying taxes and not telling the truth to welfare agencies. Only in America
