This has been an ongoing issue with this intersection. This area is split by Willowick and Wickliffe, maybe the two police departments need to come up with a plan to work together on it.

Its very surprising that an accident has not occurred there. If I am the first person at the light, when it turns green, I always wait for cars coming down 305. Not sure if they are really running the light, or if the lights are timed improperly.

This issue has come up since the construction started on Rt. 2 and is mostly due to the closing of exits before and after East 305 St.

I agree the traffic has increased, but the signal timing has changed. They are out of sync.

I agree! It's a big problem. I sat at that light for over twenty minutes before, and that was a Saturday!! Also I've seen several accidents in that area. Something needs to be done about this light! Hey Service Dept! Do Something About This Before Someone Gets Seriously Hurt!!! PLEASE!!!

Agree. I would occassionally stop at Shoregate to shop on the way home from work but don't anymore as I don't want to deal with this intersection when getting off the freeway and then again when getting back on the freeway to go home.

In addition to northbound traffic running light and blocking traffic getting off the freeway. The southbound traffic getting on Rte. 2 east pulls into the intersection, hoping to turn onto the entrance ramp at light change but northbound traffic has intersectin blocked. This makes it very difficult for inside lane of traffic turning off exit ramp onto 305 going north.

This has been like this for years ~ not just a result of the construction.
