The outside of the house at 14351 Water Stream Drive is completely finished, the yard has been fully sodded, landscaped, dumpster is gone and driveway/sidewalks have been pressure washed. We're tired of having excess water in the streets when it rains.

We do understand the request to have this erosion control device removed from the inlet. However, these are required to be kept in place until the stormwater discharge permit with the Alabama Department of Environmental Management is closed. These permits are typically closed once all of the lots within the permitted development have been built out.

D.R. Horton has built out all the lots in Chadwick Pointe. They only have two homes left for sale that are virtually finished, the yards are sodded and landscaped.

As I stated in my response to this issue last week, there is a requirement by the State of Alabama to keep these erosion control measures in place until the builder's stormwater permit with them has been closed. After riding through the subdivision yesterday checking on the progress, I noticed that the builder has removed the majority of these wattles from the inlets, so it would appear that they are working to close that permit.

This one was removed yesterday, I assume by D.R. Horton. Thank you so much for checking it out in person.
