The purpose of yield and stop signs are not to control speed. The most efficient way to reduce speeding is to provide additional police presence. You should contact the Clinton PD to request police presence in this area. A word of caution, however, when additional police presence is requested, we have found that the speeders that are ticketed are the residents of the subdivision in the majority of cases. You may first want to mention the need to slow down traffic in a homeowner's association newsletter or posting.
